On 23rd January 2026, the Municipal Chief Executive for the Kpone-Katamanso Municipal Assembly (KKMA), Hon. Samuel Tetteh Kwarshie Morton, together with the Member of Parliament for the Kpone-Katamanso Constituency, Hon. Joseph Akuerteh Tettey, and staff of the Urban Roads Department of the Assembly, undertook an inspection of ongoing road construction works within the municipality. The visit formed part of routine monitoring activities to assess progress, quality of work, and compliance with project specifications.
During the inspection, the team met with representatives of EUGO Terrano Limited, the road construction company contracted to undertake the construction of selected roads in the Kpone-Katamanso Municipality. The engagement provided an opportunity for the Assembly and stakeholders to receive updates on the status of works, address implementation challenges, and reaffirm commitments toward timely project completion.
The roads inspected included the stretch commencing from DPS through the Ministry of Energy to Saki Park. At the time of the visit, the road had been successfully graded, marking a significant milestone in the construction process. The progress achieved was acknowledged as a positive step toward improving road accessibility, enhancing transportation, and supporting socio-economic activities within the municipality.
The Municipal Chief Executive and the Member of Parliament expressed satisfaction with the level of work completed so far and encouraged the contractor to maintain quality standards while adhering to the project timeline.
