The Kpone-Katamanso Municipal Assembly successfully conducted interviews for students who applied for the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat program. The exercise commenced on Monday, 15th September 2025, and concluded on Tuesday, 16th September 2025, late in the afternoon.
Out of a total of 67 students who applied, 44 students were present and took part in the interviews. The panel members assessed the candidates thoroughly, and all results were entered into the system on the same day. The process was completed by late evening on Tuesday, 16th September 2025.
The exercise was smooth and successful, ensuring fairness and transparency in the selection process. The interview panel comprised the following representatives:
Hon. Samuel Tetteh Kwashie Morton – Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Nii Amankwah Sune I – Chief of Gbetsile, representing the Kpone Traditional Council, Mr. Daniel Adome – Representative from the Ghana Education Service (GES) and Mr. Immanuel Nii-Larte Lartey – Municipal Director, National Service Authority (NSA).

The contribution and dedication of the panel members ensured that the exercise was carried out in line with the mandate of the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat, providing deserving students the opportunity to access financial support for their education.
