On Monday 30th June 2025, the Municipal Chief Executive (M.C.E) of the Kpone-Katamanso Municipal Assembly (KKMA), Hon. Samuel T.K. Morton, paid a courtesy call on several traditional communities within the municipality.
The visit took place at Adigon, Kuberkro, Saasabi, and Zenu. The gesture was aimed at officially introducing himself to the chiefs and elders, while also engaging with them to understand the developmental challenges being faced in their various communities.

Hon. Morton was accompanied by key officials from the assembly, including the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Mr. Mohammed Ali Amadu; the Presiding Member (P.M), Hon. George Ahingua; Madam Florence Okoso Lamptey; and Assistant Directors of the KKMA.

During the visit, Hon. Morton presented cartons of bottled water which was received with gratitude and seen as a symbol of respect and appreciation for the council’s role in maintaining peace and order in the community. The MCE reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to deepening collaboration with traditional authorities and pledged to work closely with them to address pressing issues affecting residents. The interactions offered valuable insights into community needs and laid the foundation for strengthened partnerships between the Assembly and local leaders.
This initiative forms part of the MCE’s broader strategy to promote inclusive governance and community development across the municipality.
