The KAMSBEG Zonal Office on 14th May 15, 2025 had a civic engagement with members of the Ghana Hairdressers and Beautician Association (GHABA), Bethlehem branch to celebrate the Constitution Week.

Ms. Ruth Sena Doe briefed the participants on the significance of the 1992 Constitution and the need for us to celebrate it, she went further to explain the theme, “Ghana’s Future: Our Collective Responsibility”. The theme underscores the strength of our unity in diversity and shared commitment to the development of our nation, it also highlights that, Ghana’s development is not solely the duty of the government or a selected few, but a collective effort where all citizens must work conscientiously to realize a country that thrives economically, socially and culturally. This implies that we must uphold core values such as Patriotism, Integrity, Discipline, Hard Work, Unity and Tolerance, Civic Responsibility Accountability, and Environmental Consciousness in our everyday lives.

Ms. Doe further explained that Ghana’s progress can be achieved when citizens obey laws, protect public and private property, safeguard the environment, uphold justice and foster peaceful coexistence. These values when embraced by individuals and communities, forms the morals and social foundation needed to secure Ghana’s long-term success.
