The 2022 Departmental Budget hearing session was held on the 19th and 20th August 2021 at Kpone Katamanso Municipal Assembly (KKMA).
The program was in line with section 122(a) (b) of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936) that stipulates that the aggregate revenue and expenditure of the office of the District Assembly, the Departments of the District Assembly and the budget for annual development plan and programs of the departments of the District Assembly.

The budget estimate will assist the Budget and Rating Department to prepare the 2022 – 2025 Program Based Budget (PBB). The various heads of departments and units of KKMA presented programs and activities they intend to undertake in the ensuing year.
The budget presented was scrutinised by the budget hearing panelist comprising of 3 senior budget officers ; Mr Noble Atsu Ahadzie , Madam Isha Ampadu and Alberta Dora Seddoh, the Municipal Chief Executive; Hon Solomon Tetteh Appiah, the Municipal Coordinating Director; Mr Michael Owusu Amoako, the Municipal Finance Officer; Mr Bright Ametepe, the Municipal Panning officer; Madam Ivy Oduro- Kwarteng, Felicia Nasangma; internal auditor and the Chairman of Finance and Administration; Mr Godfred Edunya.
