The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Samuel Okoe Amanquah, the Municipal Education Directorate and some key staff of the Municipal Assembly joined pupils from selected Basic Schools in the Kpone-Katamanso Municipality to mark the 2022 “My First Day at School” on Tuesday 18th January 2022.

The visit was to welcome the new entrants to the various Basic Schools and to ensure that school authorities and pupils were adhering to the COVID-19 safety protocols.

The schools visited included Sethi Realty Model School and Glorious International School. Some of the ambitions shouted out by children of Primary One at Sethi Realty Model School and Glorious International School when they were asked by the MCE to share their dreams, included, I want to be a lawyer, a doctor , a nurse
The MCE was excited to see the children come back to school with such enthusiasm.

He urged them to study hard to achieve their dreams so they become prominent people in the Society. Each pupil received a hand sanitizer, nose mask and the My First Day at School Pack, which contained exercise books, pencils, eraser and sharpeners.
