MCE FOR KPONE-KATAMANSO MUNICIPAL GETS 100% ENDORSEMENT

Assembly members for the Kpone- Katamanso Municipal Assembly (KKMA) the on 30th September, 2021 endorsed the President’s nominee; Hon. Samuel Okoe Amanquah for area. He polled 27 votes out of the 27 ballots cast representing 100%. The election was supervised by the Municipal Electoral Commissioner; Mrs Emefa Agbezulor.

Delivering his victory speech, Hon Amanquah expressed his profound gratitude to the Assembly members for the overwhelming endorsement. He also thanked the President; Nana Addo Danquah for the opportunity given him to serve the people in the Municipality. He as well appealed to the Assembly members, staff of the Assembly and residents across the municipality for their full cooperation in developing the area.

Hon. Henry Quartey; the Greater Accra Regional Minister in his remarks thanked the Assembly members for endorsing Hon. Amanquah. He advised all and sundry never to allow politics to divide them. He said the municipality can develop at an accelerating rate only if we all unit and bring our diverse opinions on board.

The occasion was graced by Hon Joseph Tettey; the member of parliament for the Kpone-Katamanso Constituency, Hon Afotey Agbo; former member of parliament for the area, Hon Ashai Odarmetten,  Hon Joseph Gbeze, the presiding member, Mr Michael Owusu Amoako; the Municipal Coordinating Director, party faithful, the media and the general public.
