2021/2022 NASPA ORIENTATION AND ELECTION OF EXECUTIVES FOR KPONE KATAMANSO MUNICIPAL

The 2021/ 2022 National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) on 20th January 2022 held their NASPA Executives election at Mount Sinai Methodist church in Kpone-Katamanso. The programme was sub-divided into 3 sections which entailed orientation, election and swearing in of executives.

 The Kpone- Katamanso Municipal Manager for National Service Scheme; Mr. Emmanuel Nii Larte Lartey in his welcome address expressed his profound gratitude to all national service personnel. In his speech, he advised all the personnel to work diligently to put up their best behavior at their various departments. He stressed that, he would embark on monitoring exercise to know how personnel behave at work most especially their rapport with their immediate supervisors.

Mr. Lartey used the opportunity to enlighten the personnel on the rules of NASPA constitution before the election proceeded. The election was conducted based on rules governing the constitution. During the election, the use of ID cards, ballot papers, checking of personnel details were instigated before personnel were allowed to vote. The total numbers of personnel in Kpone-Katamanso Municipality were 245 but only 132 were present to vote. The election was conducted through thumb voting. Aspirant who contested for the position were ten (10) in number but at end of the election six (6) were chosen.

Mr. Godson K.A Tengey was adjudged the president for NASPA 2022 with 99 votes; Mr. Prince Mensah became the vice with 67 votes. Miss Ophelia Serwaa Amoyao emerged the secretary position with 79 votes, Mr. Emmanuel Annang Tetteh won the financial secretary position with 77 votes, Mr. Bright Napare with 125 votes occupied the organizing secretary position and Miss Emelia Asimewu with 130 votes became the women’s commissioner.

Dignitaries who graced the program were Mrs. Vivian Agumeh (District Manager, NSS-Ashaiman), Mrs. Ama Berko; Administrator (NSS GA Central District), some out-gone executives: Mr. David Fiaoxia-2018/2019 NASPA President, Miss. Jenifer Mateko Anfmor-2020/2021 NASPA Vice President, Mr. Francis Acquah-2020/2021 NASPA Financial Secretary, Mr. George Asumadu-2020/2021 NASPA Organizing Secretary and Mr. David .D.Prmary-2020/2021 Welfare Coordinator.
