The Kpone-Katamanso Municipal Assembly on Thursday 28th October, 2021 held a special Assembly meeting to discuss and approve the 2021 mid-year budget review, as well as, the 2022 Annual Action Plan and Programme Based Budget.

The Municipal Development Planning Officer; Madam Ivy Oduro Kwarteng presented the 2022 Annual Action Plan, which comprises planned activities by the various departments for the year 2022. It was then followed by a presentation on the 2021 mid-year reviewed budget by the Municipal budget Analyst; Mr Noble Atsu Ahadzie.

The total budget estimate for the year 2021 was 28,105,201.20 and the reviewed budget estimate is 31,020,097.20 with an IGF component of 15,971,029.00 expectedly.
With regards to the 2022 programme based budget, the total projected figure is 34,519,320.00. The Budget Analyst appealed to Assembly members to continue assisting with the revenue mobilization drive of the Assembly, and also identify new areas to rake in more revenue.
