The Kpone-Katamanso Municipal Assembly (KKMA) on 5th November, 2021 presented 500 dual desks at the cost of GH ₵145,000.00 to the Kpone-Katamanso educational directorate for the distribution to various school within the municipality.
Presenting the desk, the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Samuel Okoe Amanquah appealed to the education directors and head teachers of the beneficiary schools to take good care of the furniture so that they can last longer. He added that, the free SHS has helped in various ways, so he will advised students to focus more on their studies in order to raise the level of education in the municipality.

Receiving the desk, the Municipal Director of Education, Mr. Harry Evans Arthur thanked the Municipal Chief Executive for donating the dual desks to them for the second time. He said, the desks given to the education directorate will help improve education in the municipality because the Directorate could not enroll more student in the school as a result of inadequate furniture. He as well assured that, the furniture would be put to good use and also promised to distribute them to the various schools. He then appealed to Ghanaians and corporate organizations to assist them with more furniture and other teaching materials. Mr. Harry Evans Arthur also advised students to take their studies serious and also avoid examination malpractices during the Basic education certificate examination.
